There are many rumors going around about Apple and what they are planning to do next with the iPhone 6. Some of those so-called rumors include that there will be two different versions, one of them with a 4.7 inch screen and the other with a 5.6 inch screen. Another rumor is that they are planning to use sapphire crystal as the glass, saying that it is more efficient because of its apparent hardness which would reduce the amounts of scratches and wear and tear on the screens. The only problem is that the sapphire crystal is seven times more expensive to produce, meaning the cost of the device will be a pocket pincher for sure. The plan is to use the sapphire crystal on the bigger screen phone and to use gorilla glass on the other. Apple won’t be using their iPhone brand name for the 5.6 inch version because this phone is simply an experiment for the time being. According to the South China Morning Post there have been industry insiders who have seen the prototypes, stating that the rumors could very well be true. Another rumor going around is that there is a huge possibly that Apple could add solar charging screens to their devices and curved glass that bends downward at the edges with pressure detectors on the screen. According to a Forbes article Apple is planning to get rid of the home button and add a Touch ID fingerprint sensor. With the possibility of the next iPhone being 6mm there are rumors that it will be called the iPhone Air. Another good rumor is that the next iPhone will have at least a 10 megapixel camera and an aperture of f1/.8, which will capture way better pictures than before. With all of these rumors floating around it is indeed another possibility that Apple could be launching these new phones as early as May, the new iPhone just may be the new hot device on the market this summer.
